History Of Mapro Garden
The journey of Mapro Garden started in 1959 when Mr Kishore Vora established a business in the village of Gurehar. He started a strawberry jam business to help the farmers grow strawberries. This model led to success and the Mapro brand was established in 1978.
In the 1980s, the Mapro Factory was expanded and became the Mapro Garden. It initially showed the visitors how the jams were produced in the factories. The growth of tourists further helped expand it to the retail shop, restaurant and many other amenities.
The place is now being managed by Nikunj Vora and Radhika Vora, the successors of Mayur and Rajvi Vora. The values of Mr Kishore are still imbibed in Mapro Gardens. It now has over 1000+ employees. It has now emerged as one of the best places to visit in Panchgani.
Entry Fee And Timings Of Mapro Garden
There is no entrance fee to visit Mapro Garden. You can also visit the industrial unit and taste tours without any charge. All the retail items and the food in restaurants are chargeable. The timings are from 8 AM - 8 PM every day.
The best time to visit the place is during the winter, between December and February. In the summer months of March and April, the Annual Strawberry Festival is celebrated.
